On Thursday, June 22, 2023, Pearl River County was honored to host Governor Reeves, our Mississippi Legislators, the Mississippi Development Authority, Pearl River Community College and numerous other partners for the groundbreaking of the Pearl River County Industrial Park. This event symbolized years of hard work to move Pearl River County forward.
Pearl River County was able to purchase the industrial park property through funding from the Mississippi Legislature through the Gulf Coast Restoration Fund. Through the partnership and dedication of Senator Angela Hill, Representative Jansen Owen, Representative Timmy Ladner and Representative Stacey Hobgood Wilkes, Pearl River County is now better strategically positioned to recruit new industries that create higher paying careers.
